Victoria Azarenka Outburst At Australian Open: No. 3 Seed Snaps At Lineswoman Over Blown Call (VIDEO)

Tennis Star Curses At Lineswoman Over Blown Call

Victoria Azarenka reached the fourth round of the Australian Open by beating Mona Barthel of Germany on Friday, but the victory was overshadowed by the No. 3 seed's outburst following a questionable call on match point.

Barthel appeared to hit a forehand wide, but the lineswoman ruled it in and the chair umpire wouldn't overturn the call. Azarenka, who was out of challenges, immediately snapped at the lineswoman and continued to berate her as she prepared to serve. Replays also showed the ball was clearly out. Despite not getting the call, Azarenka went on to win 6-2, 6-4.

"I think I have been playing pretty good but I was not brave enough to finish the match. I had to get a little pissed off," Azarenka said after the match. The fiery 21-year-old has been attempting to keep her emotions under control in recent months and has stopped "breaking racquets"

Azarenka's incident isn't the only notable Australian Open outburst thus far. Earlier this week, Marcos Baghdatis of Cyprus had an epic meltdown and took out his frustration on four racquets.
