Virgin America Sends Saucy Tweet Asking Flyers About Their Preferred Sex Roles

Virgin America wants you to know that they're supportive of the queer community -- and that they're also hip to the lingo used by many men who have sex with men.

The airline company sent out a tweet earlier this week asking followers to take action depending on their preferred sex role -- that is, if they identify as a "top" or a "bottom."

For those who may not be familiar with these terms, "top" and "bottom" are used by many men who have sex with men to describe whether they are prefer to be the insertive or receptive partner, respectively, while engaged a sex act.

Predictably, some Twitter users offered up hilarious responses.

Virgin America has long been a friend to the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) community. In 2014, the company served as the official airline of San Francisco Pride and it was recently listed as one of the Human Rights Campaign's "Best Places To Work" in 2015.
