It's official! Glenn, aka actor Steven Yeun, is back on "Walking Dead" after his supposed "death," but something else might've just been resurrected as well.
With Enid's involvement in Glenn's storyline in this past Sunday's episode, "Heads Up," some fans, and even "Talking Dead" host Chris Hardwick, were thinking it might be time to put the theory that Enid is one of the Wolves to rest. Actress Katelyn Nacon, who plays Enid, said not so fast.
While talking with The Huffington Post after about her role in Sunday's huge episode, Nacon acknowledged there's a lot of evidence pointing to Enid's Wolf involvement.
When asked about all the theories that Enid is a Wolf, Nacon said, "I mean, there’s obvious-- well, there have been, like, hints here and there that the theories are true, so it could go either way."
One line Enid has in Episode 2 seems particularly damning. In the episode, the Wolves are attacking Alexandria, and Enid tells Carl, "This place is too big to protect. There are too many blind spots. That's how we were able to ..." Then Carl cuts her off. Was Enid about to admit her Wolf involvement?
About the line, Nacon says, "I don’t really know what I was supposed to say, exactly, in that line. See, I was hoping -- I don’t know, I think it might’ve been like, 'That’s how we were able to get taken over,' like, bringing that Alexandria level, but she could've easily been talking about, 'That’s how we were able to take over this place.' I don't know. It could easily go both ways, which just makes it even more confusing."
So is it time to give up on the "Enid is a Wolf" theory?
"Yeah, not yet," says Nacon. "It’s only time when the studio tells me that I can say something," she laughed.
In addition to the theory, Nacon opened up about Glenn's return, what fans can expect the rest of the season and even her thoughts on HBO releasing a photo of Jon Snow, apparently alive, a day after Glenn came back.
You were part of one of the biggest stories in "Walking Dead" history. What's the response been like since the episode?
People either like Enid more, or they hate her even more.
What?! Where's the hate coming from?
I think they just see the outer shell, the hard outer shell. And also pulling a gun on Glenn kind of pissed people off.
Would Enid have ever pulled the trigger on Glenn?
Oh, no. I don’t think she’s strong enough to do that, she’s just kind of scared. It was more out of fear.
What was it like keeping this secret?
It’s hard. It’s really hard. Especially when everyone asks you like every five seconds, you’re like, I don’t know. When secretly inside you’re like, “Yeah, he’s still alive. And I save him.”
So I don't know if you saw, but HBO just released a poster of Jon Snow apparently alive a day after Glenn came back. What are your thoughts on that?
They’re copying us, man. We did it first, and they did it afterwards, so they’re copying us. I’m telling you.
So you think Glenn helped bring back Jon Snow?
Yeah, I think there’s this whole resurrection period going on right now, and everyone’s coming back to life.
Hey, I'm loving it.
Yeah, I'm sure a lot of people are loving it [Laughs].
In the episode, Enid and Glenn release a bunch of balloons. Has anyone sent you green balloons yet?
No! I actually kept one of the green balloons because when we were filling them up with the helium tank -- one of them, I didn't fill up all the way, so I tried to set it free, but it fell back down. I was like, "Aw, poor thing." And I was like, "I'll just keep it," so I just called it Wilson from, like, "Cast Away." I drew a face on it and everything.
Some fans online were hoping you and Glenn were going to use the balloons like "Up" and float over the wall.
[Laughs] No, I don’t think that’s scientifically even possible. I mean, they would not even be able to lift me up, let alone a grown man and child. And there were not enough balloons.

You and Glenn take on a sort of father/daughter relationship. Is that something you and Steven Yeun talked about?
Yeah, there was definitely kind of like this authority role that he has on her, and there were other things that they already had planned, and it kind of shows that she almost needs him as a father-type figure, and she does, as an authority or older brother kind of figure to her.
A lot of people are speculating you're taking the role of Sophia from the comics, who Glenn and Maggie adopt. What do you think?
That’s what me and my dad were thinking, too, when we were reading the script and stuff. We were like, "Oh, maybe they’ll adopt her." But I mean, I don't know what’s going to happen. It hasn’t been established. I think that’s awesome because maybe that means I could live a little bit longer.
Team Carl or Team Ron?
Well, she is dating Ron, and it hasn't really been established with Carl, so it’s just a wait-and-see thing. I think it has been established that she was dating Ron before she left the community.

The Glenn situation was crazy, and you were in another Internet sensation, "Too Many Cooks." What was that like?
It was pretty crazy. I mean, just in the waiting room you would look around and there’d be all these people in these crazy costumes, and you’d just be like, "What is going on?"
In "Too Many Cooks," were the scenes of people dying all part of the sitcom opening, or did you think the characters were actually dying?
I don’t think it was part of the intro for the sitcom. I think they were actually dying. To me, that adds to the freakiness of that.
Will Enid keep her JSS (Just Survive Somehow) philosophy moving forward?
With all the characters, we kind of see them develop and kind of change their perspective on things. Just like with Morgan, I mean, his perspective changes drastically, so I think we can see Enid develop a bit more and see into her head.
What can fans expect in the midseason finale?
We know Glenn’s not going to give up easily, so he’s gonna try his hardest, and we’ll just have to see what Enid does and reacts to.
