What to Watch: TV Picks For Feb. 13 - 19

Cougar Town -Tuesday February 14, 8:30 p.m. ET/PT, CityTV/ABCCourteney and Co. are back for a third season of wine-soaked girl talk and the occasional pratfall. Tonight, Grayson makes Jules mad, but for some reason he's doing it on purpose. Maybe he thinks those kids he's confessed to wanting will explode from her head if she's enraged, like Zeus and Athena? Meanwhile, Travis is adjusting to off-campus housing and Ellie worries her spawn might turn out like Laurie.

Survivor: One World - Wednesday February 15, 8 p.m. ET/PT, Global/CBSThere's something so off about the title of the 24th round of "Survivor." It sounds like a Bob Marley tribute album, bringing to mind peace, love and a great deal of weed -- all things in short supply during a game of "Survivor." The title comes from the latest twist, as this time both tribes (split by gender yet again) will live on the same beach, competing for the same resources. With no celebrity players in the game, big surprise, the Redemption Island catch has been excised.

Lone Twin -- Wednesday February 15, 9 p.m. and 12 a.m. ET, TVOEver wonder what it's like to be a twin? What about being a twin, but then your other half dies? This documentary is told through the eyes of a filmmaker who lost her twin brother in a tragic accident at age 20. She takes us on a journey to four continents, meeting twins between the ages of 18 and 80. Touching and sentimental, it really makes you realize the strength of the connection between human beings who shared a womb. (-- Chris Jancelewicz)

Scottie's Tournament of Hearts - Saturday February 18, 3 p.m. ET, TSNI am mostly including this on my list this week because as a Canadian serving Canadians, I feel it's my duty. But of course, if you really care about this venerable tournament, you don't need me to tell you that Draw 1 begins today, and draws continue throughout the week at 10:30 a.m., 3:30 p.m., and 9:30 p.m., with playoffs next weekend.

The Simpsons - Sunday February 19, 8 p.m. ET, Global/FoxMarge, Homer and the gang reach the impressive 500 episode mark tonight. The log line the network is handing out says that the Simpsons are forced out of Springfield and are ostracized when they try to sneak back in. But that's probably just the first three minutes. The rest could involve anything really -- Bart flying to the moon on a camel while Lisa becomes a coal miner and Marge and Homer reveal how they met (again!) and this time it was on OKCupid.
