Why We All Need to Be Beacons of Hope

The Angel of Hope and other angels can fill us with hope and prompt us to do the right things but we have to take action. We have to listen; the angels cannot overstep our free will. They can help us to keep the light of hope burning in our lives, but they can do nothing unless we play our part.

Our world is going through massive change on every level. Our trust and faith in the future has been severely shaken. Material wealth has proved to be a false God. There is no longer a certainty of a job and many institutions that we may have trusted -- government, business, banks and churches -- have failed us. We are now living in a world that is increasingly hard for people to comprehend and predict and people of all ages are finding it hard to see hope in their lives.

This is, though, a time of tremendous opportunity, a time of enormous hope for creating a much better future for ourselves, our children, our community, our world. We need to see this hope for a better future and play our part in building it.

We have spiritual support to help us to see this hope. I have been seeing and talking with angels since I was a little baby. I see angels every day and I see them physically as I see someone sitting in front of me. I have no idea why I should be able to see angels and you don't. I'm just an ordinary person.

There is a particular angel that I used to see infrequently, but I now see every day (and I have seen it in each and every country I have visited). This is the Angel of Hope.

The Angel of Hope doesn't look like any other angel I have ever seen. He looks like a massive flame. Within this very bright flame I am shown a faint human appearance, which is masculine holding a torch -- like an Olympic flame. The Angel of Hope is very bright and is enormous, the height of a mature tree. He seems to be forever moving, turning back constantly to beckon, to encourage whoever he is leading at the time with a gentle smile. His expression is one of love and encouragement.

The Angel of Hope has a very powerful effect on people. It's as if he is able to communicate and influence people more strongly than other angels can. When the Angel of Hope is in front of someone he's like a magnet, creating a force that pulls a person on giving them the physical and mental strength to persevere and not give up.

The Angel of Hope and other angels can fill us with hope and prompt us to do the right things but we have to take action. We have to listen; the angels cannot overstep our free will. They can help us to keep the light of hope burning in our lives, but they can do nothing unless we play our part.

The angels tell me we need to:
  • Open our eyes and see the hope that is in our own lives. We need to recognize and acknowledge more the good things in our lives.
  • Be beacons of hope for others. The angels are telling me that too many people are being negative, talking of doom and gloom and failing to see the positives. This is not a time to criticize, nitpick or put everything down. This is a time where we have to see the good and actively support it. We need to build on the good.
  • Stand up and play our part. The angels tell me that too many people have become complacent and are sitting back and doing nothing. They are counting on others to get us out of this difficult situation. We can't just sit back and say it will sort itself out. Each and every one of us has to get up and, one step at a time, do what we need to do, both in our own lives and in the lives of our communities and countries.
  • To pull together. This is a time for each of us to realise that we can't do it on our own, that we all need to work together to build a better future for us all.
I don't personally care whether you think I am crazy saying I see angels physically, whether you believe in angels, or whether you believe that there really is an Angel of Hope who is there giving us the courage and strength to see the light of hope in our lives. I would ask though what you have to lose by believing -- even just for today -- that there is an Angel of Hope who can help give you the courage and strength to see the hope in your life.

We must not ever underestimate the importance of hope within our lives. Hope is what makes what seems impossible possible. Without hope life becomes meaningless and we will lose our dignity and our quality of life.

Are you doing enough to keep the light of hope burning in your life and the lives of others?
