William Fuller Drops Penn State For Notre Dame: PSU Commit Flips To Fighting Irish

Following the NCAA's sanctions against the program, Penn State lost wide receiver commit William Fuller to Notre Dame after he took an unofficial visit to South Bend on Sunday.

After saying recently that he was committed to the Nittany Lions, the Roman Catholic High School (Philadelphia, PA) product decided to head to Indiana and play for Fighting Irish head coach Brian Kelly instead.

The 6-1, 163-pounder made quite an impression at a summer camp in New York, showing his ability to make tough catches, and ND was looking to fill a receiver void in the 2013 class. He could also potentially help the team at cornerback.

Fuller also held offers from major programs Rutgers, Boston College and Maryland.

In 2011 he caught 46 passes for 758 yards and 10 touchdowns. He is the 19th commitment for the Irish's 2013 class and third wide receiver in the haul. Meanwhile, Penn State suffered its third recent decommitment, leaving the program with 11 commits in this cycle as of now.
