When it comes to inspiration for recording his latest opus, “O.N.I.F.C.,” Wiz Khalifa credits his fiancé, Amber Rose.

Wiz opened up to MTV News earlier this week on some of the hurdles that the couple faced while recording his sophomore effort.

"We have small arguments; they last like 20 minutes because we can't stay mad at each other," he revealed. "People go through ups and downs and I had a couple of arguments with her, during the time I was making the album."

Crafting songs dedicated to women has never been an issue for the 25-year-old rapper, however he has found the process more enjoyable now that he’s on the verge of becoming a father and husband.

"It's fun for me to write these records now because I'm puttin' together everything that I go through with my wife and being able to inspire people to the point where it's like a story or a book," he said. "We're in love, we love each other. We're happy, and just those good feelings."

The proud couple, who began dating in 2010 following Rose’s split with Kanye West, is reportedly expected to wed later this month.
