World's Oldest Paperboy Will Retire This Weekend (VIDEO)

World's Oldest Paperboy Makes His Final Delivery

After 70 years, over half a million deliveries, and a hip surgery, the world's oldest paperboy is finally ready to deliver his last paper this weekend.

Ted Ingram of Dorset, England started delivering papers in 1942, when Winston Churchill was prime minister. He started when he was just 22, and now at 93, after having been named the world's oldest paperboy by the Guinness Book of World Records, Ted is ready to hang up his cap.

So what's kept him going all these years? "I like doing it...you get to talk to people. I like talking to people," he told ITV News.

He was given a honorary front page by the Dorset Echo and now he says he'll just have to find something to do with his spare time. You'll likely be able to find him potting around in his garden or cleaning up his yard, he says.

We are so inspired.
