This Sunday, January 24th on the WWE Network, is the 2016 WWE Royal Rumble! This is the first WWE PPV of the year, and it's setting up to be one hell of night. The biggest stipulation of the 2016 Royal Rumble is that Roman Reigns will have to defend his title against 29 other guys. It's going to be a long night and worse night if Brock Lesnar is No. 30.
My Predictions:
Anyways, let's start out by talking about the 2016 Royal Rumble matches, and then my Royal Rumble predictions, and some Royal Rumble rumors.
The Matches:
Alberto Del Rio vs Kalisto (United States Championship)
Kevin Owens vs Dean Ambrose (Last Man Standing -- Intercontinental Championship)
The New Day vs The Usos (Tag Team Championship)
Charlotte w/ Ric Flair vs Becky Lynch (Divas Championship)
ROYAL RUMBLE MATCH: Roman Reigns No. 1 Entrant vs 29 Others (WWE Championship)
Royal Rumble 2016 Entrants So Far:
Roman Reigns, Brock Lesnar, Sheamus, Chris Jericho, Stardust, The Wyatt Family, Dolph Ziggler, Ryback, Big Show, Social Outcasts, Mark Henry.
Royal Rumble 2016 Surprise Entrants (Prediction):
Daniel Bryan, Triple H (and winning), NXT's Finn Balor & Sami Zayn, and debut of AJ Styles.
It's the greatest night of the year for surprises and I hope the WWE doesn't screw it up. Considering how many of their wrestlers are injured, they're going to need to pull out all of the stops and big names.
