This week at The Pollination Project, we highlight seven grantees from around the world who are working towards improving the lives of our youth and reinforcing the importance of being your unique self. Across the Atlantic in the United Kingdom, teens spread messages about their four legged friends while here in the States, cancer survivors remember the value of who they are through sculpture. Together, these grantees are determined to remind each and every individual of their value and worth in society.

Joseph Samuel Knight, StandUP, Cambridge, United Kingdom. Teens are equipped with online tools to advocate for animal rights.
Krisha Coppedge and James Coppedge, Youth Environmentalists, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA. Farming and community development work hand in hand to provide youth with tangible agricultural activities.
Jamie Boban Ndayishimiye and Dana Overman, Kaga: Create, Pine Ridge Reservation, South Dakota, USA. Native American youth tell their stories through artistic exploration by building relationships with local mentors.
Cynthia Fraula-Hahn and Kathryn Stella, The Bodice Project: An Exhibit for Breast Cancer Healing, Shepherdstown, WV, USA. A sculptural exhibit connecting artists and survivors that aids in the spiritual healing of both men and women.
Elizabeth Koigi, Biogas Project, Nairobi, Kenya. Poor air quality and deforestation are addressed with sustainable solutions to cooking, lighting and heating.
Julia Scharinger and Akanchha Karki, The Vagina Monologues 2016: Workshops and Production, Kathmandu, Nepal. An all women's theatre group acts out monologues leading to personal reflections that provide healing and transformation through the arts.
Gregory Roy and Ian Nie, Turtle Creek Chamber Orchestra, Beloit, Wisconsin, USA. Youth are afforded music based summer camps that provide individualized training as well as collaboration.
