Zach Galifianakis, Jimmy Fallon Swap Roles So Galifianakis Can Interview 'Himself' On 'Late Night' (VIDEO)

Zach Galifianakis, Jimmy Fallon Swap Roles For 'Late Night' Interview

Leave it to Zach Galifianakis to take a standard late night talk show interview and flip it on its head. In this case, he flipped his appearance on "Late Night" (Weeknights, 12:37 a.m. ET on NBC) completely by switching roles and personalities with Jimmy Fallon.

Galifianakis was seated at Fallon's desk and introduced himself onto the show. Fallon then walked out as Galifianakis and took his position on the chair to be interviewed. From there, the pair basically made fun of themselves and each other.

Galifianakis, as Fallon behind the desk, mocked falling asleep and admitted he wasn't paying attention to Fallon's answers to his questions. But he also asked "himself" a more serious question.

"I notice that you always gain weight for every role," Galifianakis (as Fallon) said to Fallon (as Galifianakis).

"Is that a question?" Fallon (as Galifianakis) retorted.

It was too much for Vulture and fans on Twitter, who couldn't stop laughing.

Zach Galifianakis is promoting his upcoming film "The Campaign," hitting theaters on August 10. "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" airs weeknights at 12:37 a.m. ET on NBC.
