Zagat’s Hitting the Road to Find the Hottest ‘Cue in the U.S

Last summer, Zagat and HuffPost Foodtripped around the 50 states documenting every step of our gastronomic adventures on social media. And while we were on the road, we were inundated with amazing BBQ recommendations from locals everywhere we went. So, this summer, we’re devoting an entire month to chasing down the best ‘cue in the country on a month-long road trip. We’re not alone apparently. In our recent Barbecue Survey, 42% of those polled said that they would drive several hours for great barbecue. 19% said they’d get a plane just to eat it. We’ll go ahead and save you the trip.

All month long we’re giving you behind-the-scenes access to the country’s top pitmasters, hog farmers, sauce makers, smoke experts and meat connoisseurs and capturing it all live across Zagat and HuffPost social channels. Tune in every day to ask questions, learn BBQ tips and keep tabs on the action.
