We have to admit that we are always more excited to see Zooey Deschanel's nail art than her actual dress whenever she hits the red carpet. But the "New Girl" actress looked absolutely breathtaking at the 2013 Emmys in a J. Mendel gown with a classier boob window.
Deschanel donned a similar icy blue color to last year's Emmys, but this icy blue satin dress didn't hide her curves. It also paired perfectly with her brunette hair color, big blue eyes and a Chanel tourmaline cocktail ring, which host Ryan Seacrest referred to as a "planet." We'd say that the comparison is pretty accurate.
But, of course, Deschanel's ginormous jewel brought even more attention to her black and white checkered manicure by Tom Bachik.
