1. Apply a Priming Moisturizer with Astaxanthin (a natural sun block without chemicals) all over the skin. Use fingers or a sponge.

MYTH: Applying moisturizer will add to the oil on acne prone/oily/sensitive skin. NOT TRUE. You want to keep your skin moisturized and balanced so skin doesn't keep accumulating excess oils.

2. Begin with the HD Dual Foundation (Light). Using a new technique called Reverse Contouring; apply the lighter shade of the foundation with a Foundation brush (use the side that has the company's name to distinguish which has the lighter shade) on your eyelids, around the lips and above the jawline (right under the cheek hollow).

With the same Foundation brush (using the other side) apply the darker side of the HD Dual Foundation to the rest of your face; cheeks, forehead, nose and chin (anywhere you have the discoloration, acne scarring, redness and breakouts) ... I know it sounds crazy, but give it a try, it works.

TIP: If some areas need more attention, use the tip of the Foundation brush on those specific areas. You can also use a concealer brush for smaller areas.

3. This step is essential: Dampen a dry sponge/wedge so the water is throughout and squeeze so it's not over saturated. Use this damp sponge to go over the foundation all over the face and smooth out the application. This smoothing process allows you to have full coverage where you need it and sheer coverage where you don't need it.

TIP: Try to use foundations compatible with water. This will allow you to have versatility with your coverage and will allow your skin to breathe.

TIP: Try to use a non-latex sponge/wedge, this will ensure the sponge expands and allows for a more smooth application. A mini travel spray bottle will also help for "on the go" needs.

4. Apply a Pressed Powder with a powder puff, pressing it on the skin to ensure the foundation does not move.

5. With a Blush Trio (Peachy/Pinky/Bronzer) and a Fan brush, sweep over all 3 colors and apply to the apples of the cheeks. If you're not sure where your apples are, simply smile.

Good luck and until the next time.
