What an emotionally bizarre 180 degree turn from the high stakes of the final presidential debate. It's as if everyone knows the race is over and humor is the best means by which McCain (as Bob Shrum has called for) can be put out of his misery and that we can all release a collective sigh of relief. Let's hope, given the nasty phone calls and broadsides labeling Obama a terrorist that are being deployed by the RNC.
