Video Diary: My Double Mission In Kenya

When their four children --ages 2 through 10-- urged actress Holly Robinson Peete and her husband, retired NFL star Rodney Peete, to include kids in their philanthropic efforts, the Peetes created HollyRod4Kids in 2004. "Quality of life is something many of us take for granted," Holly says. "HollyRod4Kids believes all children around the globe deserve to have a decent quality of life and full access to healthcare and education."

This August, Holly made one of several trips to Africa. "I went to Kenya on a double mission. The first, with Dr. Lisa Masterson, was to help mothers and their babies get the pre- and post-natal care they need... often to save their lives. I also went to help provide an education to some extremely disadvantaged children who just want to learn!" Take a look at this video diary of her trip produced by our friends at Attention Span Media. -Willow Bay

And a note from Holly:
