You Won't Believe What This Woman Does With NYC MetroCards

There's some value to the saying "Your trash may be someone else's treasure." Nina Boesch, a NY based interaction designer from Germany, turns old MetroCards into art. A staple of NYC culture, most city goers just think of it as a means to get to their location. Boesch, however, looks at them from a different perspective.

"You can create something beautiful out of what some people consider trash," says the innovative collage artist. She creates amazing MetroCard collages made from cut up pieces of used and expired New York City subway tickets.
