1. Alila Uluwatu, Uluwatu

Set on the towering clifftops of Bali's southern coast, Alila Uluwatu is an exceptionally stylish luxury resort for people in search of a secluded spot on the island. While the rooms are tucked well away from the cliff edge, the contemporary cabana bar extends out from the clifftop for panoramic views across the Indian Ocean with waves crashing against the rocks below you.



2. Hotel ICON, Kowloon

This contemporary design hotel is a skyscraping 28 stories high. The Chinese fine dining restaurant and panorama bar Above & Beyond is situated on the top floor, with floor-to-ceiling windows that afford uninterrupted views over the bright lights of Kowloon. Lower down on the ninth floor, the hotel's rooftop swimming pool overlooks Hong Kong's famous harbor.



3. Serian Camp The Nest, Mara Conservancies

Serian Camp in the North Mara Conservancy consists of luxury colonial-style tents that are situated on the banks of the Mara River, but there's also the option to stay in the camp's treehouse known as The Nest. From high up in a Warburgia tree guests can look out for the conservancy's abundant wildlife, with game such as lions, leopard and cheetah roaming the land.



4. Skylodge Adventure Suites, Sacred Valley

From an Andean clifftop in Peru's Sacred Valley, transparent pods are suspended 400 meters above ground - each of which can be reached by climbing up the Via Ferrata or by ziplining in. The three capsule suites were designed with comfort as well as adventure in mind with beds, dining areas, private bathrooms, solar lighting and even curtains.

Marina Bay Sands hotel is an iconic landmark on Singapore's cityscape with its distinctive design in which three towers are topped by the boat-like Skypark - the setting for the hotel's world famous infinity pool. The view across the bay and beyond is especially spellbinding at night.
