Congressman Ed Markey - Video Interview on Energy and Climate

Here is our interview with Congressman Ed Markey on energy, climate change and the upcoming bills in Congress.

Congressman Markey serves as the Chairman of the Select Commitee on Global Warming and Energy Security and the House Energy and Commerce Subcommittee on Energy and the Environment (now that's a mouthful!).

We interviewed Congressman Markey at Powershift09 which took place in DC with over 12,000 students from across the US advocating for cleaner energy and climate change action.

Markey gave a rousing speech to the students -- probably one of the most dynamic speeches a congressman has given - and got them on their feet holding up their cell phones as symbols of all the new solar panels and wind turbines that will come in the next few years.
