Imagine a perfect Saturday afternoon in Malibu. The breeze is light, the smell of the ocean is great and the sun is kissing the sky, adding a nice bright tint to the skyline. At 4:00pm on Saturday July 27, a crowd of people began shuffling into the Malibu Inn, where the clothing brand Asphalt Yacht Club was throwing their company launch party. Boy did they not disappoint!

Asphalt Yacht Club is a high-end skate-brand for skaters by skaters and is represented by an all-star skater roster. This list of all-stars includes: Stevie Williams, Ben Nordberg, Blake Carpenter, Derrick Wilson, Justin Figueroa, Nyjah Huston, Riley Hawk and Stefan Janoski. All the skaters were wearing a piece from AYC's new line. Stevie Williams wore an AYC t-shirt that had a big A on the front of it. The piece Derrick Wilson sported caught my eye. He was wearing a gray and white baseball tee, which was unique due to its short length v-neck cut; definitely a shirt I am looking to add to my closet.

As the red carpet step and repeat, was being filled with anyone from Pro Skaters to A list celebrities, with a smooth DJ inside the venue spinning and bumping tracks. As I made my way to the entrance of the Inn, I met up with Asphalt Yacht Clubs Nyjah Huston. Nyjah, won the 2013 Street League Skating competition in Kansas City and is currently ranked 6 in the world by SLS rankings. Here is a quick interview I did with Nyjah.

JR: How do you like skating for Asphalt Yacht Club?

NH: I love it! Being able to skate on a team with this group of guys is an incredible experience!

JR: Who are the skaters you look up to?

NH: I look up to Chris Cole and P Rod.

JR: How do you like Street League?

NH: Street League is awesome. I'm happy for Chris Cole on winning the SLS competition in Munich.

JR: Have you enjoyed this season of Street League?

NH: It has been awesome and I have learned a lot while competing in this year's Street League.

Now back to party!

There were chill vibes flowing out and around the venue. Signature cocktails were provided by Voli Lyte vodka. Scott Disick made a brief appearance, while John Stamos, Stacey Keibler, Paris Hilton and Kemba Walker were enjoying the party. Rob Dyrdek stole the show when he sauntered into the event. Dyrdek was all smiles as he congratulated Stevie Williams on the success of AYC. Audrina Patridge was busy chatting it up with partygoers and was happy to have her picture taken solo or with others.

DJ Jesse Marco opened up the night's festivities with an awesome set from his collection of mixes and beats, which was later taken over by French Montana. Montana got the crowd hyped and jumping. Even Paris Hilton was feeling the beat as she moved to the flow of it. French Montana asked the crowd, "Are you ready for my guest? " The crowd began to scream and cheer as French yelled, "Too Short!"

Too Short hopped onto the stage and got the crowd going with his edgy rhymes and rap flow. Both French Montana and Too Short put on a show that was incredibly memorable. At the close of his set, Montana gave a shout out to Asphalt Yacht Club and left the stage leaving everyone in awe of his performance.

Asphalt Yacht Club threw a party that got many excited for what is soon to come from this brand.
