Being Managing Editor of Causecast has its perks. There's the champagne waterfall, weekly conference calls with Diddy, and 100% solid gold hacky sacks. We even have gourmet Garden Burgers made of actual gardens! It's a pretty sweet gig, I must admit.
Of course, there's one perk being Managing Editor of Causecast can't give me, and it pains me to say it's probably better than all of those other things combined. If you haven't guessed yet, working for Causecast means I'm ineligible to win the four tickets to the American Idol Finale in Hollywood on May 21 that we're giving away.
Don't take too much pity on me. I'll be okay. I've got a soy chai latte brewing and plenty of hundred-dollar bills to wipe away these tears. My sorrow, however, is your gain. All you have to do to have a chance at winning two of the tickets is fill out the form at americanidoltickets.causecast.org.
These tickets were donated by Idol judge Randy Jackson as part of an auction benefiting Causecast organization Save The Children. Causecast CEO Ryan Scott engaged in a furious bidding war with songwriter Carole Bayer Sager -- also the wife of Save The Children Chairman Robert Daly -- but ultimately came out on top with a $21,000 bid. We're happy to support Save The Children and to use these tickets to say 'Thank You' to all of you out there, fighting for your causes.
At Causecast, we're trying to change the world (one drop of water at a time, sometimes), but doing it alone is hard. If entrants refer a friend to Causecast, they'll get another entry in the giveaway. Each friend referred equals another chance to win!
