On Wednesday (6/15) I joined the Gordon Monson Show on 104.7 FM and 1280 AM The Zone in Salt Lake City to break down the NBA Draft.
Specifically, I discussed the rising stock of Jimmer Fredette, and his impressive one-on-one workout with fellow star guard Kemba Walker.
I also analyzed some of the premier point guards in this class, including lesser known entities like Hofstra's Charles Jenkins and Boston College's Reggie Jackson. Jenkins -- with his natural scoring and playmaking ability -- could turn out to be one of the real steals of this draft late in the first round.
The guys also asked for my thoughts on Kyrie Irving, who I believe is the only guy you can truly build a franchise around in this bottom-heavy draft, making him that much harder for the Cavaliers to pass on with the first overall selection June 23.
