Note: Do not read on if you have not seen Season 6, Episode 3 of CBS's The Good Wife, titled "Dear God."
So now Alicia has been goaded into most likely running for State's Attorney, thanks to a little Gloria Steinem cameo and the fact that Castro is a really dirty, horrid little man. Not only is he gross, but he eggs her on by bringing up Will. No, sir, some people don't do things for "retribution," maybe they just want to.
I appreciate the fact that Alicia didn't even let the idea float across her mind until Steinem says she'd be good. Talk about empowerment. How does that work with the new law firm? Will Diane and Taye Diggs have to fight Cary for it? I'm guessing we'll wallow back and forth all season, and if she runs, the campaign is next year.
Cary is free, which is good. Even better is the sex he and Kalinda are having. Holy moly.
And we finally have a reason for Grace to be so religious! I'm never sure about her and Alicia's relationship. They have moments of not even passing each other in the hall and then really, solid, mom and daughter time. But who talks so openly to their mom?
What do you think about the plotlines so far? Let me know @karenfratti.
