Celesbian reactions to Obama: President Obama made history this week when he told ABC News reporter Robin Roberts that "same-sex marriage should be legal." The news inspired many famous lesbian and bisexual women to express their joy and gratitude on Twitter:

And Ellen DeGeneres took a moment on her daily talk show to thank Obama for his words:

Beth Ditto is getting hitched in 2013: In an interview with The Guardian, the Gossip singer revealed that she's planning to marry girlfriend Kristin Ogata next April. Ditto said, "I was born to be married. I just feel comfortable there. I love the idea of being partnered forever. I love my girlfriend, we've been best friends since I was 18. There's not a thing we haven't been through except for marriage... We've had talks about what we would name our kids since we were in our 20s."

Linda Perry visits her girlfriend on The Talk: Music industry icon Linda Perry made an appearance on girlfriend Sara Gilbert's show The Talk and performed the songs "Beautiful" and "Letter to God." Perry also promoted the upcoming L.A. Gay & Lesbian Center's "An Evening With Women." The event, co-chaired by Perry and featuring appearances by Courtney Love, Wanda Sykes, Kat Von D, and DJ Samantha Ronson (spinning at the after-party), takes place May 19 in Beverly Hills and will benefit the center's vital programs and services for women and girls.

Cat Cora's Around the World in 80 Plates debuts on Bravo: The out chef stopped by Watch What Happens Live to promote her new adventure cooking program and told host Andy Cohen which Real Housewife she'd most want as her sous chef:

Brittana go to prom together: Gleeks everywhere celebrated the fact that Santana (Naya Rivera) and Brittany (Heather Morris) officially attended the prom together in this week's "Prom-asaurus" episode of Glee.

She tried out for The Real L Word and didn't even get a lousy tank top: With lesbians everywhere counting down the days until the July 12 premiere of the third season of Showtime's The Real L Word, New York-based writer and photographer Grace Chu dished about her own experience with auditioning for the show. She suspects that being gainfully employed might have worked against her. That and the whole not wanting to have sex on-camera thing.
