With economy in the tank, Bush approval ratings below 30%, McCain campaign floundering without a theme, Obama has been having the best last three weeks in media yet.

Obama stays at 46% over last several weeks. McCain +4 at 44%.

What does that tell you?

My answer: despite all the recent headlines, Senator Obama cannot afford to be confident -- and he needs to reach out to expand his base.

My answer: Senator Clinton would still help him most as a vice presidential candidate.
