It's the most wonderful time of the year! (Well, almost.) Thanksgiving is just around the corner and I'm sure there are plenty of us who are already thinking about the holiday season and gift giving. With Black Friday essentially becoming a holiday itself these days, it can be easy to spend your whole seasonal shopping budget in just one day! Here are just a handful of my favorite personalized gifts that won't cost you an arm and a leg.

1.Sharpie Coffee Mugs

This is a fantastic, easy craft that you can personalize however you want! I love the idea of making a pair of mugs for yourself and a friend or significant other with inside jokes or a meaningful quote around the outside. Here's a link to a great DIY Guide for both mugs and wine glasses.

2.Christmas Cards!

I love getting letters in the mail, and this is such a simple and personal way to let those you love know that you're thinking of them. Gifts for You Now has a ton of different styles of cards and you can personalize them with your own pictures and text. I've also ordered adorable Christmas cards from Etsy. Cards are a great option for those that have a ton of people to send gifts to and need to be budget conscious, or if you have family and friends farther away.

3.Painted Canvases

Another option for crafty types (can you tell I've been on Pinterest lately?) - painted canvases are both cheap and stylish, and are SUPER easy to make. I've been able to find canvases for cheap at Big Lots and many craft stores have coupons or sales around the holidays that you can take advantage of to lower your total cost per gift.

4.Coasters - DIY or Store Bought

Between Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years, and everything in between, holiday drinks are sure to be bountiful. And what's a better way to say "Hey, drinks at your place?" than some cute coasters? So get some chestnuts roasting on an open fire and kick back with a glass of eggnog as a pat on the back for being such a great gift-giver. Here's a great buzzfeed DIY.

Best of all many of the options above can be purchased and personalized for low cost if you're not a crafty person, but want the gift to be more thoughtful than just picking up something at the store. Best of all, these options enable you to skip all the crazy shopping traffic, parking headaches, and high prices while still making your gift recipient get that warm fuzzy feeling inside when you gift them something personalized.
