Are we going to succumb to a party which has no qualms about dividing Americans for political gain? If ever there was a time for Democrats to show some backbone it is now.

"...We don't differentiate between them and us. It's just us!"
President Barack Obama, September 10, 2010

For Democrats desperately in search of a message for 2010 elections and beyond, here it is: Are we going to succumb to a party which has no qualms about dividing Americans for political gain? Are we going to stand-down as Republicans cede power to their fringe element in an effort to gain Congress in preparation for the White House?

This is the line in the sand Democrats! Your performance to this point has been lethargic and anything but inspiring. You have allowed intolerance to fester. Your supporters don't know where you stand. Do you?

We are far beyond the red and blue state divide Obama talked about during the famous speech that catapulted him to national prominence. Now, what we have is a daily divisive discourse that is prevalent throughout America and includes blatant racism and intolerance.

If ever there was a time for Democrats to show some backbone it is now. This is the time to say, "Win or Lose, we stand for the rights guaranteed in the Constitution of our country." We stand for:

•Equal access to education for all Americans
•Equal access to employment for all Americans
•Equal access to health care for all Americans
•Equal access to home ownership for all Americans
•Equal access to marriage for all Americans
•Equal access to the religion of their choice for all Americans

This is not Socialism....it is Americanism!

Democrats, if you don't have the guts to say these things, "get off the pot." These are dangerous times and we need patriots who will speak up for those who can't.

This is how you gain followers. This is how you inspire people to vote for your cause. This is how you move America forward.
