Latest Trends In Wedding Invitations

Sending out a wedding invitation is one of the few wedding traditions that seems to stand up to the test of time. Even in the fast-paced digital world we live in, most couples still opt for sending out a signed, sealed and delivered type of invitation. One major change in wedding invitations is the fact that no longer do they just provide the basic information about where and when, given all the different invitation styles, shapes, price ranges and personality, the wedding invitation has taken on a life of its own.

When you send out a wedding invitation to your guests you are not only providing them with the logistical information about the day but you are really providing them with a peek into what sort of wedding event they will be attending. Gone are the days where a bride and groom would head out to their local stationery shop and select a design from the big book of invitations. With the large number of resources the internet provides, couples have infinite possibilities for designing and selecting their wedding invitation. One of the questions I get asked all the time in the Ask Maggie section of Rustic Wedding Chic is from brides looking for new and upcoming wedding invitation resources. Just like all the other fashion worlds out there, wedding invitations have trends too. Here are the top five wedding invitation trends I am seeing in the wide world of wedding paper.
