Schadenfreude, sketch-comedy legends in Chicago, recently appeared on "The Interview Show," a live talk show I host the first Friday of every month at The Hideout.

Below is an excerpt from the interview, as well as a clip from a sketch Schadenfreude did with the rapper Rhymefest on "The Interview Show" back in the spring.

The next Interview Show is February 6, from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Guests include: TOM GEOGHEGAN, candidate for Illinois' Fifth Congressional District seat; JOHN GREEN, award-winning novelist of "Looking for Alaska," "Paper Towns;" T.J. JAGODOWSKI and DAVID PASQUESI, stars of acclaimed iO longform improv show "TJ & Dave;" and KONEE ROK, music-video director, chronicler of Chicago hip-hop scene. Plus: a musical performance by DAVE AND DARREN, of The Changes.

Thanks for checking out.
