While it's far from the biggest metropolis in Latin America, Panama City is destined to be one of the region's most visited cities because it may be the most dynamic town in an extremely dynamic region. In Panama City, high rise steel looms over tin roofs and street vendors compete with fancy restaurants, where the country's namesake hats don't look a bit out of place. It is a hot town, a fast town and a town that doesn't treat its history delicately. Panama looks to the future.
