Poke Poke, Kaua'i Style

Though Kaua'i is far from the humming hustle of Waikiki, there is plenty to do -- it's just so relaxing, you don't want to. Regardless, we snorkeled, tubed, zipped, rode in an open cockpit Bi-Plane... and were welcomed as dignitaries by local folklorist and Hula Empressario Lopaka.

Somehow, between the Mai Tais, Mahi Mahi and poke poke, we found the gumption to stage a LIVE version of our popular iTunes podcast, A FORK ON THE ROAD, poolside in front of an enthusiastic live audience. Before the clouds opened, we had time to hear a traditional Hawaiian welcome song, learn the Sheraton RumFire's Tuna Poke recipe from Chef Mark... and get lei'd.

Not a bad Thursday... see for yourself.

You can subscribe for free to A FORK ON THE ROAD SHOW and see more travel videos on our site. See ya there!
