China, Australia, Are Carbon Bombers -- And Bombing Themselves with Climate Change, as are others, says a new analysis commissioned by Greenpeace, reports Oliver Milman at the UK Guardian. Indeed, what good will money from selling coal do, if they AND we destroy our environments, and futures, in doing so?

From Kansas to Colorado, Drought Continues to Damage US Economies, threatening winter wheat in Kansas and the prospect of failed crops and more wildfires in Colorado, reports Carey Gillam at World Environment News and Joey Bunch at the Denver Post. Climate Prophet Nicholas Stern: 'I got it wrong on climate change -- it's far, far worse,' report Heather Stewart and Larry Elliott at the UK Guardian. Ever notice how global warming and climate change are worsening faster than ANYONE has predicted? And what that means for the future? We can't change to clean energy, sustainable economies, and responsible reproduction fast enough, folks!

Every day is Earth Day, folks, as I was reminded by these crocuses I photographed one spring. Making the U.S. a global clean energy leader will ensure a heck of a lot more jobs, and a clean, safe future. If you'd like to join the increasing numbers of people who want to TELL Congress that they will vote for clean energy candidates you can do so here. It's our way of letting Congress know there's a strong clean energy voting bloc out there. For more detailed summaries of the above and other climate change items, audio podcasts and texts are freely available.
