So marriage equality finally won in California. Now what?
There are 37 answers to that question, and they all entail a lot of work. Arkansas, Oregon, New Jersey, Alabama... there's a flurry of activity across the country in the wake of the Supreme Court's ruling on DOMA and Prop 8.
Interestingly, the tactics in each state are pretty diverse. In Oregon, it's a ballot measure that follows years of outreach. In Mississippi, it's public education. Texas has improved polling, Colorado is looking at a legislative strategy, and in New Jersey there are a whole bunch of different options all moving forward.
Over the next few months and years there will be plenty of work to keep organizers busy.
