If questions are asked, but no one is there to hear them, are they still really being asked? What if the power of a question, and the individual asking it, extends only as far as those who hear it asked? The first What If...? Conference was neither recorded, nor spread beyond the 214 people who attended. We think this is a shame. So, we made it a priority to have our second and all subsequent events recorded and produced in a way that could be shared and spread. It wasn't easy, but we were fortunate enough to find an amazing, local filmmaker (Brian Mauer, with Burnt Bridge Films) who appreciated and understood the vision of What If...? enough to work with us and within our budget.
Below is a promo showing what What If...? is all about. It contains clips from the Conference and has interviews with some attendees. We truly hope you can take three minutes to watch it and would have our minds blown if you could share it with everyone you think might want to join our rapidly growing community.
This is just the first step in a series of releases coming your way. This summer, we'll be releasing videos of selected presentations for you to view, share, and begin conversations about. There are some pretty powerful questions being asked, so let's do what we can to make sure they're connected with those who could benefit the most from hearing them. Let's not let these trees fall for nothing. It's our mission to get these questions heard so we can all benefit from the actions they inspire.
