Mindfulness can help us suspend judgment at any given moment.
It allows us to briefly observe the world and ourselves just as is, and just for that moment.
The moment you engage in mindful awareness, you choose to no longer apply preconceived notions to thinking, such as how things should, or should not be.
Instead, you open yourself up to creative possibilities and solutions.
In order to problem solve, we need to use a different mindset other than the one that created it.
Therefore, choose to simply observe the world as is, without judgment. Don't argue, or compare it to what could have, should have, or would have been.
Your compassionate acknowledgement of what things are at that moment will prevent you from entering a downward spiral of exhaustion, anxiety, or fear.
It will free you up for taking control of your life, and being in charge.
It will enable you to problem solve more effectively, and with greater compassion and creativity.
So, give it a try. Share the gift of mindfulness with the world and yourself, and enjoy the peace that comes with it.
If you have 90 seconds, mindfulness is beautifully explained in the video below.
