Nobel Prize-winning economist and NY Times columnist Paul Krugman spoke with MSNBC's Chris Hayes on January 27, 2013. In this clip, Krugman responds to a hypothetical question on whether he would accept an offer to become U.S. Treasury Secretary:

"I honestly do believe I'd be terrible at the job...in terms of actually influencing events, it would be a step down from where I am now."
