In a little over two months, my sixth book will be released: The Visual Organization: Data Visualization, Big Data, and the Quest for Better Decisions. A little while ago, I posted the book's trailer.

Here's the book in a nutshell:

We live in a world of Big Data. Organizations and their employees need different tools to find the needles buried in the haystacks, understand immense and dynamic datasets, and ultimately make better business decisions.

As is my style, the book contains plenty of what I think are interesting case studies. This is no theoretical text; I emphasize practice over theory, Examples include Netflix, Wedgies, eBay, and the University of Texas.

This is not a book about how to visualize data. Rather, it is a book about becoming a Visual Organization.

John Wiley & Sons and I are just putting the finishing touches on it. It the meantime, help yourself to the 28-page introduction of the book. Here, I lay out the plan of attack for the entire text.
