The transition from college life to a new career has many challenges. For law student Amelia Hochman, those challenges include finding a new beauty routine! While attending classes in New York City, Amelia is a free spirit who expresses herself with bold, colorful eye shadow and wild hair. However, as she begins to interview, she'd like to add more sophistication to her look, while still letting her personality come through.

So, I started Amelia's new beauty routine by showing her how easy it is to remove harsh makeup with simple products: tissues and eye-makeup remover. I then used a BB Cream on her face, which will even out Amelia's skin tone, while adding moisture and SPF to keep her looking youthful. To give Amelia's eyes definition, I added sheer pink eye shadow and then contoured with an earthy golden-brown shadow. For her lips, I used an easy jumbo-sized lip pencil in a natural shade to line and fill in Amelia's lips. A touch of blush and mascara and Amelia's goal of looking more "put together" had been achieved!

Finally, one of Amelia's worries was that her hair would be too "wild" for interviews. But a light hairspray, which can hold her spikes during classes, could be easily brushed out for a more polished look for interviews. Watch Amelia's stunning transformation above!
