So now we have conservatives- so many of whom have done a total 180 about John McCain in recent weeks- lambasting The New York Times for their recent reportage casting aspersions about McCain's behavior around some of the lobbyists he has known.

Just listen to what some of these conservatives are saying- between the lines if not directly?

Well, what would you expect of the "northeastern liberal establishment's" chief spear-carrier? Hey, when it gets down to crunch time, The New York Times is liberal and always has been.

Plus, some of these same conservatives think that by releasing the McCain reporting now, rather than say a month ago, they waited until that second coming of Reagan (that'd be Mitt Romney) withdrew and was out of every liberal's harm's way.

Just goes to show you. Can't trust the liberal media.

Funny, though, when former (whew) New York Times reporter Judith "Saddam has vats of anthrax" Miller was writing her now discredited, fear-mongering articles about Iraq earlier this decade, some of the same conservatives who are attacking the Times' McCain coverage now, latched on to her, and to her New York Times articles, as justification for attacking Iraq.
