Creating art out of genes

I'm a big art fan, but I'm a bigger fan of genes, so as soon as I saw this work that is the art and technology equivalent of marrying peanut butter and chocolate, I ate it up.

The company, called MyGeneImage, creates artwork out of your DNA. What they do is allow individuals to define their pieces of art by selecting their own specific gene sequence (eyes, hair, skin), as well as the design, background color and size to create beautiful piece of artwork. To call it unique is sort of an understatement. To call it a breakthrough technology, which is really where we live, is right on the money.

About MyGeneImage:
MyGeneImage designs DNA Art to impress and inspire. Each work of art is remarkable and unique as it displays the magnificence of the DNA sequence with the individually selected gene.
