Amazon Reveals Kindle for PC: MediaBytes with Shelly Palmer October 23, 2009

Not to be outdone by Barnes & Noble, Amazon is set to release "Kindle for PC." The new program will let anyone with a Windows-based computer buy, download and read Kindle books on their machine, even if you don't own a Kindle. Remember what King C. Gillette said, "Give 'em the razor, sell 'em the blades."

News Corp COO Chase Carey reiterated his desire to add subscription services to Hulu. Carey said pay-per-view movies and various subscriptions could be available in the coming year. Despite the news, Hulu has yet to divulge how it will market payment for content.

Is China building up is cyberwarfare capabilities? According to a report from Northrop Grumman prepared for the US-China Economic & Security Review Commission, China's hacker community could not have the resources they need to launch the massive attacks they have previously launched without "some type of state sponsorship." Wow, them's fightin' words.
