AT&T Ends Unlimited Data Plans

Kindle On Sale At Target: Want to see the Amazon Kindle before you buy it. Starting June 6th, Target will begin selling the eReader for $259. Amazon says the Kindle is its best-selling product, so it should do great at Target.

AT&T Kills Unlimited Data Plans: AT&T has ended its unlimited data plans, so now, iPhone and iPad users are going to have to pay by the amount of data they consume. That means that if you watch too much video on your 3G iPad, you are going to get billed for it. On the other hand, AT&T also announced that it will now allow you to tether your computer to your iPhone, so you won't have to purchase a separate wireless card. But, the same limited data plan fees will apply.

Cablevision To Extend Commuter WiFi: Cablevision is planning to bring unlimited WiFi access to New York area commuter trains. It will be free for Cablevision customers, with a reasonable fee for others.
