British health experts are blaming Facebook for a recent surge in syhpilis cases. The sexually transmitted disease has flourished recently in the British towns of Teesside, Durham and Sunderland, with one official noting that Facebook made "it easier for people to meet for casual sex" and that a rise in the epidemic coincided with a rise in social network use in those cities.

Not able to get 3G reception in your home? AT&T is trying to change that by releasing a new "microcell" which creates miniature cell phone tower in your home. Utilizing a broadband connection the "microcell" will reportedly make your AT&T 3G connection much better, the only problem is it'll cost you an additional $150. Fox is taking steps to bring its TV shows to mobile phones. Through BitBop, an app that will be available on the iPhone, BlackBerry and Android-powered devices, Fox will streaming full-length shows like the Simpsons, as well as other popular Fox content. For $9.99 a month, users will be able to both stream and temporarily download as much content a month as they'd like.

Verizon announced that it plans to cover 1/3 of America with its new LTE service this year. The wireless provider plans to double the size of the 4G network in 15 months, with plans for it to be even larger than its current 3G network in three years.
