This week's influencer on What's Trending live was Adrian Grenier. The Entourage actor has always been the type to launch interesting and innovative projects. He spoke to me about his documentary 'Teenage Paparazzo' hitting the road to empower today's youth, sustainable living, and, yes, the Entourage movie.

Adrian talked about his documentary, Teenage Paparazzo, and said he thinks it hit a nerve with teens and kids because they are "the first digital natives." He has taken to crowd funding his Empowerment Tour through Indiegogo.com which will allow "the film, art, me, some guest speakers, experts in the field to talk to the kids and we are hoping to reach 80 schools."

He also spoke about his recently launched app Reckless that allows a direct connection to his audience: "As an independent filmmaker, I realized that I am no longer beholden to the big studios to connect to distribute my messages, my ideas."

As for his site Shft.com which launched in 2010, Adrian described its importance as a hub where "sustainability doesn't have to be so square." This green thinking has also inspired him to launch an eco-friendly wine, which he emphasized has the ability to empower rich offline conversations around how we can make the earth a better place.

Finally, the ultimate fan question came from Facebook around whether the Entourage movie is going to finally happen. Grenier's response? "We are waiting for Doug Ellin. Doug Ellin has gotta write a script and then we are all there."
