Kidnapped School Girls of Nigeria

First and foremost, I would like to begin this story with the upmost respect for the families of the kidnapped school girls of Nigeria. This is what you call the ultimate nightmare considering the girls have been gone for nearly one month now. Not one family or parent in the world should have to endure such a tragedy in which your beloved daughters have been taken away from home by some mislead group of terrorist that wishes to impose their belief system on some very fragile school girls. Nigerian President Goodluck Jonathan should have acted more swiftly in the beginning because it is very hard to rescue the girls once they have been gone for weeks or months. There are way too many places to hide the girls in the remote areas of Nigeria. The world is paying close attention to this situation and more needs to be done to rescue the over two hundred school girls from the hands of their captors. President Obama recently sent many high level intelligence officials to Nigeria to help assist with this situation along with deploying drones in the area to help identify the girls whereabouts. First Lady Michelle Obama spoke out about this travesty of justice along with several celebrities.

The Boko Haram terrorists are wrong in their attempt to dictate policy on the backs of innocent school girls and now the terrorist group wants to exchange the girls for the release of some political prisoners. Was this the overall plan in the beginning or did their leader just think about this strategy due to the increased pressure on his group? As soon as their location is identified then the world leaders should send in the best of the Navy SEALs to help liberate the school girls with record precision. There is no margin for error when it comes down to saving the lives of these young ladies. Many people wonder if the terrorist have any respect for their own mothers, daughters or sisters? How could you not have respect for women when we all come from the womb of a woman?

Depriving women of their ability to learn is considered backwards thinking. Look at all of the accomplishments and contributions to society that were made by women worldwide. There have been many rallies organized throughout the world to bring more attention to this serious matter, but after all the marching is over then what happens? These girls need help just like all of the people of the world need help when being taken advantage of by people that do not care about the very foundation of family or peace. People have a right to practice their own belief system but no rights to impose their beliefs on others. Obviously, kidnapping young women in Nigeria has been going on for a long time now and maybe this is one of the reasons why the Nigerian government did not act immediately. When we as a people in leadership allow injustice to take place in our country then we are just as responsible as the tormentors. It's time to put the full court press on the terrorist to help free the kidnapped school girls as soon as possible. Somebody out there knows exactly where the girls are being held.
