Sometimes it takes a lot of words to make a point but at other times a few sentences will do. Kevin McRae worked with my son on the Washington, DC department. On Wednesday, after coming out of a ten story building that had a fire on the top floors, he collapsed on the street and died. I ask for prayers for his family and friends as well as for all those public servents who risk their lives on a daily basis for us. In the midst of the obsession about bad cops, I hope we will all remember to thank the Firefighters, EMS officers, and the Law Enforcement officers for what they do every day. In honor and memory of Kevin, take a moment to say thank you. Nothing more needs to be said.
