The former president has been treated for more than a week for pneumonia.
He wrote the president-elect one of his famously gracious notes.
They are the longest-married couple in presidential history.
"I do not feel that I can contribute to the normalization of the President-elect's divisive rhetoric," Rep. Katherine Clark (D-Mass.) said.
He won't be skydiving this year.
