Roseanne Barr offers a new “explanation” of her racist tweet about former Obama adviser Valerie Jarrett.
The comedian suggested that the spinoff cast someone else as a Roseanne replacement.
"We can't even take a joke anymore," he said in a red carpet interview.
“The spinoff will continue to portray contemporary issues that are as relevant today as they were 30 years ago,” ABC said.
The disgraced sitcom star had an active night on Twitter.
Whitney Cummings left the show months before ABC pulled the plug.
The "Roseanne" actress and executive producer said she's still "proud of the show we made."
ABC knew Barr's history of controversial behavior, the comedian added.
