The GOP congressman, who helped push the Obamacare repeal effort forward, attended a four-hour town hall where he came face-to-face with constituents who may lose their health care due to the American Health Care Act.
“You voted for this bill in a rush. There were no committee hearings. This is my life."
At town halls, angry constituents confronted GOPers over health care and other issues.
His constituents haven't forgotten about the infamous moment.
Because the House speaker wasn't giving them any actual face time.
"I was shot on a Saturday morning," former Rep. Gabby Giffords said. "By Monday morning, my offices were open to the public."
In order to represent, you need to listen to your constituents whether they vote in a Republican primary or not.
