UNFCCC CLIMATE CHANGE
April 22nd is annually celebrated as "Earth Day" and what a better way to celebrate this wonderful day then with the signing of the Paris Agreement. This treaty, which will ultimately reduce global warming in our lifetime, was signed by more than 177 UNFCCC (United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change) members at the UN on Earth Day.
Leading up to the 2015 climate talks, the importance of national policies in addressing climate change is beyond vital. We must decide how we contribute to the climate agenda with our national priorities, circumstances and capabilities with referene to the global framework that drives collective action toward a low-carbon, climate-resilient future.
